From the moment we walked into space, we knew that it was the place we could see ourselves getting married. Throughout the entire process, Ashley was instrumental in helping us navigate the chaotic process of getting married and did it with patience, grace, and kindness. The entire staff at the venue was helpful, accommodating, sweet, and made our day seamless from start to finish. I couldn't recommend this place enough, and thank Ashley and her team for literally the perfect day!

Seriously, Ashley is the best person to work with—she answers emails quickly and concisely, always providing the perfect amount of detail to make the planning process smooth and stress-free. We received so many compliments on how AMAZING the food was for our wedding, and we felt the same way during our tasting. Ashley and the chef, who I believe is her husband, go above and beyond to ensure the food quality is exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the inside of the venue was! The building is absolutely stunning, and it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our photos. One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception and seeing our family and friends all around the venue, especially upstairs on the second floor—it was such a cool, unique experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful for their hard work. The pricing is also fantastic—it’s straightforward, includes so much, and is truly a great value for what you get. Even though we traveled from outside of Philadelphia, I’m originally from the Pittston area, and it was well worth the trip! I would absolutely book this venue again for future events if I’m having them in the area. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. If you want an unforgettable wedding experience with amazing food, a beautiful setting, and fantastic staff, The Anthracite Center is the place to be!

From the day we first toured the venue through the entirety of our wedding celebration, working with Ashley and The Anthracite Center was absolutely amazing. Throughout the planning process, Ashley was always accessible and willing to offer help and advice. She truly does it all, with an amazing menu offering as well as seemingly endless linens and decor items available. In terms of the uniqueness and beauty of the venue, it’s hard to match! The ability to have the ceremony/reception and cocktail hour on different levels added a lot to the experience, and the vault was an absolute crowd pleaser. Our guests repeatedly remarked on how amazing the food was, with high praise for both the hors d’oeuvres and entrees! When all is said and done, we have absolutely zero regrets about celebrating our special day at The Anthracite Center. We recommend that you do the same!

I had the privilege of having my wedding at The Anthracite Center this past Saturday and cannot be happier with how the day turned out. Ashely was honestly the sweetest and easiest person to work with. I know that the day of the wedding she probably has a million things to deal with but she made sure to always check on my husband and I and calm our nerves. The day went so smooth, the food was amazing, and the service was top notch. If anyone is considering having an event here I cannot recommend it enough.

Anthracite Center played host for our daughter's HS graduation in May 2024. The theme was a 1920s Gatsby Celebration. Where do I begin to describe the awesome experience we had working with Ashley?! She is a Rockstar owner with great detail, communication, assistance, availability and personability. She is a complete joy to work with and makes the whole experience feel flawless. Now to the main event, The food, THE FOOD was incredible, full of flavor and authenticity. Justin cooked with love and attention and it was obvious. All of our guests were very pleased with the tasty selections. So many compliments from our picky palate foodie family members......Bourbon Maple Bacon Salmon, Rosemary Pork Tenderloin and Chicken Francese with Garlic Smashed potatoes. Fried Meatball apps and a Pretzel station for late night. Serving staff and bartenders were attentive and made for a great evening. I can not recommend enough on how great Anthracite Center is!! 115 sets of thumbs up.

As a professional DJ, I had a great experience at The Anthracite Center. The load in was easy access with a ramp. There is an elevator to the huge mezzanine. The acoustics were just right and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
